NOTICE TO BUYERS:
1. Auction bidders must be over the age of 18.
2. Prime Storage reserves the right to reject a bid or cancel any sale, if the bids are, in the discretion of Prime Storage, unreasonable.
3. All sales are final. Buyers are bidding on all items within the unit and payment must be made within 24 hours after the auction ends. Payment is required in order to gain access to the unit.
4. The buyer will have 72 hours to remove the contents of the unit after the auction ends. If the buyer is unable to empty the unit within this time, the buyer may contact the facility manager to rent the unit by signing a rental agreement and paying the first monthâÂÂs rent.
5. Unless a rental agreement has been signed, any property left in the unit 72 hours after the auction ends will be considered abandoned property. The buyer understands that any abandoned property may be disposed of or sold by Prime Storage in any manner, at the sole discretion of Prime Storage, without any further notice to the buyer.
6. Buyer must remove all items within the time period specified above and leave the unit in broom swept condition. A cleaning deposit will be collected at the time payment is made to ensure compliance. All units will be inspected by facility manager prior to cleaning deposit being returned.
7. Buyers are not permitted to use the facility dumpster. The dumpster on the property is for Prime StorageâÂÂs use only. Illegal Dumping at the facility or in the dumpster, which includes, but is not limited to, leaving garbage or other items around the dumpster or inside of a unit, will result in a minimum $75 fee, plus actual disposal and cleanup costs.
8. The buyer is requested, and acknowledges it is their responsibility, to leave any personal papers, which may include but are not limited to documentation containing personal identifiable information such as legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, passports, identification cards, etc., and personal photographs, which may include but are not limited to family photographs, yearbooks, etc., found within the unit with office staff.
9. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, firearms, ammunition, explosives, alcohol, drugs or drug paraphernalia are not included in the sale. Should the buyer find any firearms, ammunition, explosives, alcohol, drugs or drug paraphernalia within the unit, he/she shall alert the office staff so law enforcement may be contacted to remove and confiscate any illegal items.
10. The buyer acknowledges that in certain circumstances Prime Storage may contact the buyer and request that certain items be purchased back in order to prevent any court action with said tenant, the buyer also agrees to sell to Prime Storage such items for (a) the cost at which buyer purchased such items plus (b) any reasonable actual costs incurred by buyer in connection with such items.
11. All bidders agree to hold harmless and indemnify Prime Storage of any and all claims.
12. Employees and family members of employees of Prime Group Holdings and their affiliates are not permitted to participate in any Prime Storage auction. Buyers violating this policy will have their bids cancelled and employees may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including, termination.

Note to Buyers of Online Self Storage Auctions
In accordance with our Terms of Use Agreement, the buyer
agrees to the following:
- Winning auction buyers MUST
make contact with the facility manager to make arrangements for payment
and pick up won auctions with in 24hrs.
- Premium payments for won
auctions MUST be made within 24hrs of auction closing. Failure to make
payment within that time frame will result in loss of the auction and
account suspension.
- We accept bids in increments of $10, bidders also have the ability to
place a MAX BID that is at least $20 or more than the current bid amount.
- Any bids placed within the
last 3 minutes of the auction will cause the auction time to extend an
additional 3 minutes from that time.
- With our Standard Membership,
the winning bidder will be charged a 15% buyer premium of each unit. With
our Executive Membership, the winning bidder will be exempt of the buyer
premium for a reoccurring monthly payment of $59.95 (billed anniversary
style).
- Depending on the facility, a
10% deposit may be charged to the winning bidder's credit card at the
close of the auction. That amount will be subtracted from the final amount
due at the facility.
- Bidders MUST clean out the
unit entirely, leaving it in broom-swept condition while abiding by the
rules and regulations of the facility, before the end of the 48-72 hr
clean out period.
- Winning bidders understand
they are entering into a binding purchase contract. Failure to pay either
party and clean out the unit completely will result in the bidder's
account being suspended.
- The facility has the right to
cancel the auction at anytime.
- The defaulted tenant has the
legal right to cure the account thus cancelling the auction. This is true
up until the payment is received from the winning bidder to both
SelfStorageAuction.com and the storage facility in question, unless
otherwise stated in the state's lien laws or facility.
- Winning bidders are
responsible for their winning bids, taxes, and other fees associated with
their account regardless of whether they claim ownership of the unit(s).
- By registering and agreeing
to our Terms of Use, all bidders agree to not dispute credit card charges
processed through www.SelfStorageAuction.com.
- Upon account being suspended
all active winning bids will be removed.
- If a unit sale has 0bid(s) or the highest bidder and or subsequent bidders have failed to pay and follow through on the sale, then the unit becomes property of the seller and they can dispose of items or relist the unit, it would be at the discretion of the seller.
