Step by Step

I. Create Your Account

Register as a facility and pay 10% of each sale and be subject to a $20 cancellation fee with our Standard Membership, or pay $40/month per facility for unlimited auctions and without any cancellation fees with our VIP Membership .

Set up a seller account as a General Manager, District Manager, Facility Manager, or as the Account Owner. If you need to add multiple locations, we ask that you contact our Customer Service Department at 480-900-8350 to ensure that your account is set up correctly.

II. Post Online Auctions

Once you have sent out your lien notice, placed an ad in the paper, or completed any required legal advertising, you will be able to post your auction. Simply click "My Account" then go to "Post An Auction". You will want to be as descriptive as possible when writing the "Unit Contents". This step should include the unit size, cleaning deposit, clean out time, sales tax, payment options, unit contents, facility’s hours of operation and any additional information. We recommend that you post 5-10 good quality pictures that accentuate some of the best items, capture the value of the unit as a whole and show different angles/sections of the unit and don't forget to use the flash.

III. Post Live Auctions

Click My Account then go to "Post An Auction". You can advertise your live auction on our website to thousands of bidders as well. You will only need to enter the auction’s date, start time, and number of units.

IV. Auctions Can be Canceled

As the seller, you have the right to cancel the auction at any time up until the unit is paid for by either the tenant or the winning bidder.

If the delinquent tenant pays the lien amount due to your facility, or if the auction is posted with incorrect information, you must cancel the auction immediately and notify the bidder and our Customer Service team of the cancellation.

V. Sold!

Once the Auction has ended, you will be emailed the invoice which contains the Auction Bidder's contact information and amount payable to you. When a bidder wins a unit, their buyer premium and sometimes a 10% deposit, depending on your membership status with us, will be charged to their card on file at the close of the auction. When the bidder arrives at your facility to pay the remaining balance and clean out the unit, they may bring you 10% less than the original sales price in cash because your seller’s fee was already applied to their credit card (If you are a Standard Facility).

VI. Pick Up Time

The bidder should call to let you know when they will be able to pick up the unit (within your clean-out policy). Once the bidder arrives and pays, please open the unit in front of them.
